Abrey Agricultural approached Rade with a clear challenge: to reposition its website around a rapidly expanding farm machinery offering. The business had recently taken on distribution of German manufacturer Ziegler, making it essential to shift perceptions beyond its established ground care equipment and ATV offering.
The website also needed to support a key commercial opportunity - converting new leads generated at the LAMMA machinery show at the NEC. With a hands-off approach from the client, Rade was tasked with defining the site structure, bringing the content together and creating a clear platform capable of reflecting Abrey’s broader ambitions.

Having taken on distribution of German manufacturer Ziegler, Abrey needed to move beyond its established reputation for ground care equipment and ATVs, and communicate the breadth of its expanding portfolio.
The website also needed to capitalise on a major commercial opportunity, converting leads generated at the LAMMA machinery show at the NEC. With the client taking a relatively hands-off approach, Rade was tasked with defining the website structure and pulling together the content, while ensuring the new site clearly supported Abrey’s wider growth ambitions.
The Result
The site gets the basics right: it clearly showcases Abrey’s wide range of agricultural and ground-care machinery, with simple navigation that makes products, used equipment, parts and servicing easy to find.
It goes beyond selling machines, highlighting repairs, delivery, demonstrations, installation and ongoing support. Strong specialist knowledge, particularly around robotic mowers and agricultural machinery, builds credibility, while detailed used equipment listings give customers the information they need to enquire.
Prominent contact details, a physical location and clear business information add trust, making the site feel like a genuine, established specialist dealer rather than just another online catalogue.

Project Scope
Abrey Agricultural approached Rade to assist with the redesign and development of the company website. The client was keen to take a relatively hands-off approach, putting trust in Rade to define the structure and pull together the content for the site.
A stronger emphasis on farm machinery was the challenge when designing the new Abrey Agriculture website. Taking on the distribution of the German brand Ziegler, Abrey wanted to demonstrate their business now encompasses far more than ground care equipment and ATVs. Capitalising on the generation of new leads at the LAMMA machinery show at the NEC, timing of the website launch was crucial.
Solution
Abrey Agriculture was keen that the machinery products should take centre-stage and therefore the design followed a relatively simple approach incorporating the company branding as well as bold imagery. Putting agriculture at the forefront, the homepage features a video showcasing the Ziegler range of cultivators and specialist combine headers.
Clear navigation guides visitors to Ziegler’s tillage and harvesting equipment and the Suire range of mowers and yard tools; each with a full feature list, tech spec and photo gallery. To ensure updating the machinery featured is quick and simple, the site uses the Umbraco open source web platform.
This makes content management trouble-free, a quality Rade wanted to replicate when project managing the new site. Rade provided all design, build and content preparation, working with machinery manufacturers to source imagery and specifications.
The site was launched on time for the LAMMA exhibition and has subsequently helped raise the profile of the business.
