Rade’s involvement in this project was to provide technical development of the new website, working alongside local design agency, Spring. The aim was to not only improve the look and feel of the website, but also to completely overhaul the web management system and provide integration with the existing back office system.
A key part of the brief was the ability of the new site to improve the overall shopping experience, by streamlining product selection and configuration.
Coupled with this was the need to make administration of the site easier so that the client could take greater control of the site and product management.
The site was developed using an Umbraco content management system, coupled with Ucommerce. This provided the platform to facilitate the feature-rich design which required significant custom development.
This included product pages that provide the shopper with not only a lot of product detail and imagery, but also the means to choose options (such as colour, size, glass type etc.) and accessories. Each product page has been designed to ensure only compatible configurations can be selected and the shopper cannot add a greenhouse to their basket until all possible configurations have been selected.

The range include its own brand, Rhino which is manufactured at its Thetford headquarters as well as selected of other brands sold on behalf of other UK manufacturers.
