Corporate Occupier Solutions (COS) is a joint venture between Cushman & Wakefield and EC Harris. COS offers a total service solution for organisations and their real estate needs. COS provides portfolio efficiency, transaction and real estate services, as well as project and facilities management services in a comprehensive manner across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Rade were tasked with rebranding the COS website and developing a suite of systems within the existing extranet to further enhance the site capabilities. The solution is based on Rade’s flexible MediaStream content management system. The site provides a secure environment for users to view and exchange information. The website was identified as being key to shortening the lines of communication and bringing the business closer together.

Rade create new site for Prettys

Operating one of the largest practices in East Anglia, Prettys Solicitors is prominent in the fields of commercial and personal law, acting on behalf of UK and non-UK clients.

 

When redeveloping their website Prettys wanted to ensure that this marketing device reflected the dynamic nature of their company while giving existing clients access to useful information. For this task, Prettys chose Rade and their Mediastream content management system.

 

All of the websites Rade commission have been developed with the end user in mind. The website design offers visitor’s intuitive navigation and the ability to view the site in larger fonts or text-only versions; making the website accessible to a wide audience. The design incorporates Prettys’ established branding to ensure the website mirrors the theme of paper-based publications. From any web-based pc, users are able to edit content, images, events and publications while staying within styling guidelines. Rade have also included tools which allow the selection of a colour scheme for individual page headers and navigation menus from the brand palette.

IndexDirect sell equipment for the workplace. Their online catalogue features thousands of products. Amongst them are products for storage, shelving, handling and security.

Using their RadeTrade ecommerce platform, Rade created a solution for IndexDirect that incorporates full content management of the catalogue, shopping basket and user account system. In addition, Rade developed a custom shipping matrix and integrated a payment gateway.

Greener than The Hulk

For the launch of this Summer's blockbuster movie, The Incredible Hulk, Universal Pictures and the World Land Trust are promoting an Incredible Hulk Carbon Calculator to encourage film fans to balance carbon emissions and become "greener" themselves.
 
Rade have worked with the Halesworth-based charity for a number of years and were delighted to provide the technical expertise needed for the development of an online carbon-offset solution for the World Land Trust, which has been themed to support the launch of the movie.
 
The online calculator at www.carbonbalanced.org/incredible-hulk/calculator will enable fans to balance flights, transport or household emissions to support the World Land Trust’s work to protect and restore forest habitat in Paraguay.

 

Top marks from Which? magazine

International conservation organisation, the World Land Trust (WLT) has received top marks in a recent article in Which? Magazine. The article on Carbon Offsetting compares 13 UK websites with ratings for ease of use, project details and financial data as well as an emissions figure and the payment required to offset it. Carbon Balanced scored 5 out of 5 for the ease of use which includes calculator tools designed by Rade to calculate emissions associated with your lifestyle and travel. Carbon Balanced is a carbon dioxide emissions offset service by WLT where money donated is invested in restoration and protection of tropical forests.
