Profile: School Search provide comprehensive online and offline directories to allow prospective parents to obtain details of UK Independent schools, Boarding schools, London schools, Preparatory schools, Special Needs schools, International schools and 16+ Schools and Colleges.
Project: Rade were tasked with creating a database system that would allow the John Catt team to easily manage a series of searchable microsites as well as the school data for their directories.
Utilising Rade's newly launched Enterprise Site Manager content management system, a solution was developed to provide control and flexibility reducing the need for John Catt to be reliant on Rade for site updates.
An additional feature of the system was a mechanism that enabled the schools featured in the directory and listings to update their details via the website during specific update windows. By integrating the website with John Catts office based databases, the new solution will help to reduce the workload for the John Catt team and to streamline the update process.
