Hawkin's Bazaar offers a unique and extensive range of unusual toys, gifts, gadgets and curiosities. They are not just another toy-shop, or indeed just another mail-order company. They work hard to source out-of-the-ordinary products and to offer something different, a range of toys and gifts that will appeal to many ages and tastes.
Project
Rade created an ecommerce web site for Hawkin using our RadeTrade software. It is fully integrated with Maginus Commerce software (an Oracle based system) which includes transfer of customers, orders, catalogue requests, products, pricing and stock.
The site is designed to handle 6000+ orders/day at its christmas peak and features integrations with Paypal, Yahoo IndexTools, Bazaarvoice for reviews, Ultimate feed, facebook and other social media.
We have also developed a Click and Collect program for the site that both allows customers to reserve items instore and allows the 100+ Hawkin's Bazaar stores to pick and notify the customers that the goods are ready for collection.
